For the
love of photography, Racquel Valencia
Hays has immersed herself in various
ways to encapsulate the world she sees
through her lens. In so doing, she has
disciplined herself to learn the craft
and articulate it further, though new
learning is always constant.
In
addition, she has met along the way the
many instructors and muses that would
guide her on the path of creating. Her
images are varied, oftentimes centering
on people and their environment. Their
environment becomes her environment. In
the frenzy of capturing a moment, she
looks at details so she can be at a
place of stillness. And when she gets to
that place, she photographs and feels
pleasure and freedom!
